Fruit Muffins

One of the easiest recipes at the FRUGURT Factory, we just love making these when we want to indulge into a quick high tea ! An excellent recipe to make with your children - all you need to do is use the FRUGURT CUP to measure out the ingredients. How easy is that?


  • 1 cup of our FRUGURT Yogurt ( Choose a flavour you like)

  • 1 cup of vegetable oil

  • 1 cup of caster sugar

  • 1 cup of whisked egg (roughly 3 normal eggs)

  • 3 cups of self-raising flour

Serves: 12 | Total Time: 45 minutes


  • Preheat the oven to 170C/gas mark 3-4.

  • Choose which fruit flavored FRUGURT Yogurt you want to use, then empty the contents into a mixing bowl.

  • Measure out the vegetable oil, eggs, sugar and flour in the same FRUGURT Cup, and mix it all together until well combined.

  • Pop a tablespoon of the mixture into each of the 12 paper muffin cases, filling them three-quarters of the way up.

  • Bake for around 20-25 minutes, then leave to cool before eating.


If you want, you could give the muffins an extra fruit hit with chopped dried apricots, strawberries or bananas. Strawberry Frugurt Yogurt works particularly well with some white chocolate drops in the mixture or some nuts.
