Our Story
Dsouza Biotech began as a small family company in early 2000, as an off-shoot of a family-run dairy, headed by entrepreneurs looking to enter the value added dairy product market. Our company introduced India's first natural stirred yogurt, to a niche clientele under the brand name FRUGURT.
Since its launch, the brand has grown many-fold and risen to a number of challenges in an exceedingly competitive market. Over the years, the brand FRUGURT has steadily gained popularity and enjoys a fan following grow. ![Bright, creamy, and full of flavor 💜🥄
Our Beetroot Yogurt Dip is the perfect wholesome snack to jazz up your meals or dips.
Ingredients
1 cup cooked beets, see notes
2 1/2 cup Frugurt Greek Magic
1 tsp Salt
1 clove garlic, grated
2 tbsp walnuts, chopped
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
Instructions
• Boil the beets until fork-tender.
• Peel them once they are cool enough to handle.
• Blend the cooked beets, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and seasonings until you achieve a smooth puree.
• Mix the beet puree with the Greek Magic.
• Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the color to intensify. • Drizzle with extra olive oil, chopped walnuts, and fresh parsley before serving.

Çılbır (Turkish Poached Eggs with Yogurt)

Base:
1 cup of Plain Frugurt Stirred Yogurt
Topping:
1 medium chopped apple

1 tsp maple syrup or honey
1 tsp butter
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
Instructions
1. Sauté the apples
In a small pan, melt the butter/coconut oil. Add chopped apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup/honey. Cook on low heat for 5–7 minutes until soft and fragrant. Let it cool slightly.
2. Assemble the bowl
Add Frugurt Plain Yogurt into a bowl as the base. Gently spoon the warm apple mixture over the yogurt. Top with chopped walnuts. Sprinkle a little more cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flair.
